Mrs. Whitney

Brief Biography:
I am originally from this area. I graduated from Wellsboro High School in 1999. I earned my B.S. in physics from Mansfield University in 2002 and my M.S. in physics from RPI in 2003. I worked as an engineer for ITT Space Systems Division from 2004 to 2006. I have been teaching high school since 2006. I was pleased to join the Wellsboro High School faculty in 2015. I am married with two children who attend the Wellsboro Area School District.

I teach woodworking and technology education courses. The woodworking classes include Introduction to Shop Skills, Shop Skills, Woodworking 1, and Woodworking 2. For the Fall 2018 semester, I will be teaching Intro to Shop Skills, Woodworking 1, Woodworking 2, Child Development, and Electricity.

For the Spring 2019 semester, I will be teaching Shop SkillsWoodworking 1Woodworking 2Child Development, Shop Maintenance & Repair and Small Engine Technology.

In addition to teaching these courses, I am also the Student Council Advisor.
