The Agriscience classes have just started the 2019 edition of our pig project! If you remembered our very successful project with Mabel two years ago – we will be conducting the project in a similar way.
We will be studying the reproduction of a pig over the next few weeks. A 1 year old Hampshire cross gilt named Daisy arrived in our classroom this week. She is almost at full term in her gestation and will give birth here. We will study the piglets for the first few weeks before they go back to the farm.
